Bio

Myras Hands is at the forefront of the San Diego music scene...and the band couldn't be happier. This San Diego based Indie rock band is tempting audiences with a very new and interesting style of music, fusing together the element of rock with a classical twist. Having influences such as Radio Head and Pink Floyd, it's no wonder how they are pulling in a very different blend of sounds for the listener. With haunting melodies and a flare for the epic, their original materials get the crowds going. Early on, the group decided to forget the bass and pick up the cello to create that rich and slightly eerie tonality. The band makes it a point to shake things up, drive songs forward, and have each song weirder than the last!

All of Myra's Hand's members are devoutly articulating their trades, having each aspiring for or completed an major in music. This band geek group consists of Tina on vocals and piano, Kaitlyn playing cello, Tre on guitar, and Keith on drums, with age ranges from 20-23 years old. The band believes in pushing the borders, trying anything, and, most of all, having a blast with the music, the audience, and each other. With deep rooted passion, they each add something special to the table, all bringing a new perspective and influence to the music. A little bit about the members: Kaitlyn is a junior at SDSU in cello performance, and has a red bull substance abuse problem, saying "I'm not addicted, I just need it." Tina is working to achieve a composition major, and physically beats Tre up on a daily basis. Tre went through the guitar program at Grossmont College, and often fears for his life when practicing with Tina. Keith graduated from the Musician's Institute in Hollywood for recording and engineering, and never stops drumming.....ever. This group of 4 takes great pride and passion in working with each other, and challenging themselves in the band Myra’s Hands.
