Myron McClendon grew up in a small town with not much opportunity. At age 3 his mom taught him how to sing while playing the guitar. Myron accepted Christ at age seven and has been involved in his church as long as he can remember. In 2001, God allowed Myron to accept responsibility as Minister of Music for the African Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Alex Fountain, Sr. where he is currently serving. Myron has a heart for writing songs producing a new sound and his mission is to encourage and bring new souls to the flock and to those who have strayed away or who has just about given up on God's purpose to be encouraged and know that we have a Savior who has delivered us, we just have to keep the faith and know that in the midst of hard times, God is still in charge and he keeps blessing us over and over so that when one door closes, he opens another. We have to continue doing our part and that is giving God our very best.
