No one knows exactly when the guys all met each other or when they even started rehearsing as, My Secret Other Girlfriend. All people know is that after their first show on March 2, 2012 at the Roux in Charlotte, NC, they were known as a serious band taking over 2012 with fury! Quickly after their first show, they were approached to be the headline act at the Evening Muse during the YELP (yelp.com) preview of NoDa. Three songs have been posted on sonicbids. Take a listen. These songs will be on the upcoming release of My Secret Other Girlfriends first album/e.p. entitled, "Mostly Most Of Us, But Partially All Of Us." This is the party band of 2012. Everything from surf rock, to catchy lyrics and garage rock pop influenced melodies. Obscure and catchy like a clash between At The Drive In and Taking Back Sunday.
