My Side Of The Story

My Side of the Story is from the small town of Magnolia, Texas (40 min north of Houston). They originally formed with some members of their previous band, Lovestruck Tragedy. After the falling apart of LST, Christian, Jeremy, and Chism decided to recruit Jeannie Moffitt to be an additional vocalist. They believe that there are too many bands out there right now that have just one singer, which gets old fast, so they split their songs between the three, creating a trio that never gets old. The band could be compared to those of Forever The Sickest Kids or Valencia, but there's something about their sound that sets them aside from the others. When approached by Noah Coffelt (producer) and Wes Arvin (audio engineer) about recording an EP, there originally was no band. "Lovestruck Tragedy was pretty much over" says Jeremy, "So I knew if we wanted to record something, we were going to have to magically come up with a new band and a handful of catchy songs. I had my doubts, but I'm so pleased with the outcome." With their first EP entitled "We Will Make It Out Alive," the band has proven themselves to many of the locals of thier town, as well as those from all over the country with help of the internet. This is only the beginning.
