My State of Attraction was formed in the spring of 2009. The band began writing and recording with The Churchills and Gordon Brown at Near Records studios in Long Branch N.J. A three song E.P. was recorded and is awaiting release under the title Dispatched
My State of Attraction's music delivers accessible vocal melodies with an undeniably indie feel. Current, fresh and energetic the music is also edgy and angular while never straying to far from its pop intentions.
Although My State of Attraction is a new name in the Asbury park music scene, its members are determined to become featured performers.
