Bio

« Restons scène » (understand “Keep Zen” as a pun leading to “Let’s stay on stage”) is both the title of the new album of MYSTERE TRIO and its motto.
With no fewer than 800 concerts in 13 years given at the 4 corners of the globe, MYSTERE TRIO comes with an enriched “swing of the world”.
The original line up of two guitar players (acoustic) and a drummer/percussionist leaves the floor to ethnic instruments such as the oud, the tres, and the Tipijâze, warm percussion instrument at the corners of Cajon congas and drums.
Enhancing our mixing of cultures, our gypsy swing takes an oriental taste, while African rhythms meet the blues and some Andalusian sounds place the listener in an “immediate offset”. Even Claude Nougaro and his “Jazz et la Java” is feeled as the perfect illustration of these Hispanic accents, a wink to this new album that was mainly recorded into the concert hall “Salle Nougaro” in Toulouse on the 30th of September 2011.
