"Jim Matthews from Slipstream Films"

"I've seen other tribute bands and these guys get it right. They aren't just playing the songs, they deliver the entire U2 experience!" - NA

"Jeff Power, Sports Director News 8 Austin"

"I've seen Mysterious Ways so many times I feel like a groupie, but I truly enjoy their sound and authenticity. I'm a huge U2 fan and I haven't heard any other band cover U2 the way Mysterious Ways does."
- NA

Bio

Determined to be a tribute band that delivers, Mysterious Ways focuses on the whole of the U2 live show, bringing the U2 arena concert experience to the smaller venues. Emulating the intimacy, intensity and interaction that IS a U2 concert, Mysterious Ways brings everything but the Lemon Spaceship to the show! With their own lighting, video backdrop, sequences, and, above all, the ability to sound so much like U2, Mysterious Ways leaves the crowd feeling as if they, in fact, just saw U2! With so many successful shows under their belt, MW is a tribute band with the spirit and passion as big as Texas itself!

Mysterious Ways' "Bono", Patrick, is a Bono-look-a-like/sound-a-like/act-a-like and regularly goes out into the crowd and gets people singing, letting others become a part of the show as well. MW's "The Edge", Buffalo Speedway, has The Edge's tones and style down to a ‘T’ - and he sports "The Edge's" wooly cap. MW's "Larry Mullen, Jr." (drummer), and "Adam Clayton" (bassist), Brian Delauri and John Kelley, respectively, have connected to bring the foundation of U2's sound to the forefront. With the addition of our MW’s own lighting, sequences and video graphics, plus over 50 U2 songs to choose our sets from, Mysterious Ways' U2 Tribute shows are not only worthy of Texas, but shows U2 would be proud of.

For almost 30 years, U2 has been a major force in rock music. Never afraid to redefine themselves, U2 has survived the early 80's pop and late 80's hairbands, the 90's grunge and dance, and are as strong as ever in 2008 with the recent release of their ground-breaking U23D 3-D concert as well as their much-anticipated new release later this year. Also, with their involvement in many worldly causes they have remained in the spotlight and their ability to put their beliefs into songs that become hits, they have shown themselves, and their fans, that life truly does move in Mysterious Ways.
Taking a bit of U2's philosophy, Mysterious Ways was formed in Austin, TX in mid-2005. Playing all the favorite U2 songs from "Boy" to "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" to U2 B-sides, Mysterious Ways is a U2 tribute band with spirit and passion as big as Texas itself. See for yourself - because life DOES move in Mysterious Ways!
