ABOUT MYSTERY TRAIN:
Formed in June of 1997, original members Bill Jung (guitars), Brian Biernat (bass), and Dick Doucette (drums), invited Mike Bucholtz (keys) in 2000 and welcomed BJ Carr (vocals) in 2008. Collectively, these five musicians lay claim to 154 years of "live" music performance.
Mystery Train is best described as a living rock & roll history lesson. While proud to have incorporated originals in recent years, this band steadfastly continues to showcase music written by the likes of Robert Johnson, Howlin' Wolf, Willie Dixon, Sonny Boy Williamson, Freddie King, B.B. King, John Mayall, Carl Perkins, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, The Doors, The Allman Brothers, Little Feat, Eric Clapton, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, Buffalo Springfield, The Band, and Van Morrison.
Together, this band performs a diverse blend of musical styles, which leaves their audiences thoroughly entertained and wondering, what's next?
