A high level of knowledge of self (determination) is rarely achieved by a hip-hop generation .Not scared to take risks or take things to the next level. Mystic Xperienz is one such visionary-An MC who has a devotion to hip-hop and passion for social consciousness with a energy seldom witnessed in Dutch hip hop. Mystic is a child of hip-hop's Golden Era of superhero MCs, NWA: (Dr. Dre., Ice Cube, MC Ren, Eazy E, the Arabian Prince, D.O.C & DJ Yella). In the beginning he spent his time writing lyrics with local MCs; Flame, Chill and Eject.(Dominators of Freestyle) But Mystic not only was influenced by all the hip-hop Influences around him, he also absorbed knowledge from across the artistic and social spectrum; the meditations of Bob Marley, the activism of Jah RastaFari and KRS-one. Mystic Says: "I'm just inspired not just by hip hop art, but good art, social consciousness of art that is sincere and genuine." In 1996 Mystic became a member of the famous Rotterdam based group; "Draztik Measurez". Their notoriety grew after their first big gig in 1998 at the International Break-dance Event in the city of Rotterdam (The Netherlands). Just before achieving international fame the group fell apart in 2002 into several solo projects. Because of his love for the game and his desire to be the best, Mystic Xperienz also went on with his own project and quickly released his first single. The success of this single not only got noticed in the Netherlands but even reached notoriety in Italy and the United States.
