Bio

Chuck Limbrick "Mystro" who is a musical genius and a force to be reckoned with, writes, sings, plays multiple instruments and produces his own arrangements! His vision and goal is to write and produce music for other artists in the R&B, Jazz, Gospel and Country genres.

At the tender age of three (3) years old, Chuck began his journey into the field of music as a little drummer boy. By the time Chuck was five (5) years of age, he was playing the drums for the church he grew up in. "I was totally fascinated with drums when I was a little fella," says Chuck. "When I first played in church, the drumsticks looked like flag poles in my hands 'cause I was so small...but I had the time of my life!" By the time he was eight (8) years of age, he was playing full-time in the church and was summoned by other groups and churches to come and play with them. While he was growing up, Chuck continued to cultivate his musical gifts by playing multiple instruments (self taught).

Some of his major influences are Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Herbie Hancock, Sam Cook and Prince. Mystro’s lyrics would be described as the unspoken words of one’s heart. In comparison to Ray Charles and his other influences Mystro has been blessed with a gift of making that smooth crossover transition into other genres of music.

Everything about Chuck's life was great until shortly after he reached the age of fifteen (15) when his life changed forever. As Chuck says, "I made a terrible mistake and I am paying for it everyday of my life. Chuck's time behind bars has not been wasted. For over twelve (12) years, he has worked with troubled teens and families in the Department of Corrections program for juveniles that encourages them to stay out of trouble and to give themselves a chance to know and have a good life. Chuck has put together youth programs, music, church and educational programs. "The people who have authority over me have given me a chance to exercise my gifts and I appreciate that" says Chuck."

With the miracle of Chuck's freedom that is now being orchestrated and just around the corner, he is committed to expressing his talent as an artist and through other artists.
