Bio
Mythic is a Knoxville, born and raised, musician who always had an affinity for writing. Falling into the music scene soon after graduating high school, he began to pursue his passion full time. When he isn't writing, recording, or performing in local clubs he is out seeking inspiration for his next piece. Though much of his work can come of as melancholy or misanthropic, reading deeper into his work you'll find an artist seeking light in a dark world. These positive undertones lead listeners towards an experience reminiscent of the counterculture movement. Growing up Mythic was entranced by Legendary artists such as; Eminem, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Odd Future, and others. This lead to Hip-Hop being strongly engrained in his style. However, his love for Indy, Punk, Blues, and Rock music has created a pleasant mix difficult to define by genre restrictions. In recent years he's found himself most inspired by the rapper(s); XXXTENTACION, Mac Miller, Kota The Friend, J. Cole, JID, K.A.A.N., and Anonymuz. Always returning to his roots in Hip-Hop.
