Bio
Danielle Rizk aka MzRizk has been DJ'ing around Melbourne since 2002. In this time MzRizk has gone from strength to strength and is ready to take off in 2010.
MzRizk enjoys entertaining the crowd as well as educating. Always different and out of the ordinary, MzRizk orchestrates her DJ sets to tell a story. MzRizk plays Hip Hop music and anything that falls under that umbrella including all of Hip Hop's mothers such as Funk, Soul and Jazz. She is mostly known for her scratching and sampling during her sets, which she considers a very important part of representing the Hip Hop culture she is immersed in.
MzRizk has played at venues such as First Floor, Miss Libertine, The Espy, Roxanne Parlour and at various events including Push Over, Our Backyard, Battlegrounds after party and Face The Music. MzRizk has also had the pleasure of supporting and performing on the same stage as True Live, Phrase, Pez and Akil The MC from Jurassic 5.
