I'm just another working stiff that's living the dream of playing music with my friends. I am a Analyzer Technologist in a chemical Plant In Louisiana. I like the type of work and benefits are good. I play music part time and the pay is not good , but I LOVE it. I like all types of music but my favorites are Jazz, Funk and R&B. A few of my favorite groups are Earth Wind and Fire, The GAP Band and Maze. Today I am lucky to be a member of N-2N, still living the dream I love.

Mike Atkinson
It all started with "I Feel Fine" by the Beatles. The feedback intro… the great guitar riff that carried the song… He was hooked, and his love affair with the guitar began! After a self-imposed sabbatical from the stage ("it was time to get a job"), Mike returned to playing live in 2001. At a Weekend Warriors gig, he met keyboardist Jacob Butler. They have been playing together on and off for the past 4 years. Now Mike and Jacob find themselves members of N-2N. Man, it just doesn't get any better!

I always loved music. I was classically trained as a percussionist and considered a professional career as a timpanist. (But, honestly, I was afraid of becoming a "starving musician."). In high school, I picked up the bass guitar just for fun, and a new passion was born! I stopped playing after college, but I always said, "When I stop traveling, I'd love to be in a band again". When I moved to Louisiana , I started attending jam sessions at Tabby's Swamp Mama's and Phil Brady's. That was the beginning of this wonderful journey that's culminated with being a founding member of N-2N!

John Bolter
As a young boy growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, drumming for me began in childhood elementary school. During my high school years, like so many of us in the sixties, my interest turned to rock . Unfortunately, my passion for drumming was buried when I enlisted into the military during the Vietnam war. For more than two decades, drumming was a missing element in my life. . However, with my professional success and maturity came the recognition that a long dormant passion kept calling me. Supported by the encouragement and blessing of my wonderful wife, I re-awakened that passion for drumming and gladly embraced it as a long lost friend of distant years gone past. Throughout my development, however, it was my dream to find a group of musicians that had a special musical connection. From its beginning, I found N-2N had such a connection.
