N3W ERA, which stands for innovative change in an erratically changing time period, is an unparalleled group of young men whom are transcending the current R&B / Pop and mainstream scene. Their diverse appearance and sound has already captivated numerous fans around the world. Based out of San Jose, California, they are determined to break the mold of Bay Area Music.
Blessed with the same lyrical families, M.I.C and Cadence have been singing, rapping, writing and producing music upwards of one and a half years. To compliment the dynamics of their talents, members Ryan Jordan and M.A.E also bring their diverse sense of style, musical abilities, charismatic personalities and complementary dance styles to the group. With the collaboration of upbeat dancing and smooth stage presence, N3W ERA brings forth a campaign which will revolutionize music and entertainment.
Allocating a large number of followers and fans world-wide, the group is at the forefront of the ever changing music industry.
N3W ERA's professional mannerism, and positive reputation allowed them the opportunity to perform on a High School Tour around the Bay Area, Las Vegas and Southern California, which became incredibly successful.
As of September 2009, N3W ERA seated the number one position for unsigned R&B/Pop/Hip-Hop group on the Myspace.com Music chart. In addition, their songs have been encompassing the MySpace playlist and currently have reached an immense total of 4 million plays. With dedication, hard work and persistence, N3W ERA was able to secure an Artist Development / Management deal with a very highly reputable Artist development company in the Bay Area, which is known as UGMX. Since having joined the UGMX Family, these young men, have appeared on the live nationally televised show (B.E.T. 106 & park “Wild Out Wednesdays” February 10, 2010).
Their performance surpassed all expectations and their diligence and hard work paid off, as they were the first group to ever receive over 8000 mobile votes per minute and a total of over 100,000 votes from the WEST COAST alone. Since, appearing on the show N3W ERA has had the pleasure to open up for acts such as legendary Genuwine, Fat Joe, Pretty Ricky, Soulja Boy, YG, Audio Push, to name a few. They have been casted for a new being directed by movie director “Mario Van Peebles” called “Where the Party At” featuring New Boyz and many other amazing talented young artists, scheduled to be released in the summer of 2011.
The group has been extremely busy touring, performing at numerous private events, festivals, and one of the most prestigious talent showcases of the world known as Blaze the Stage NY and West Coast. Their greatest accomplishment thus far came late this summer, when they went back on Wild Out Wednesday (August 18th, 2010) and won the All Star Competition for the male R&B / Pop category, with over 48% of the votes. Shortly after returning home from NYC, after having been on the show and feeling extremely blessed and accomplished, N3W ERA received the amazing news of having been nominated to become the “2010 Wild Out Wed All Star MVP”. Thanks to the loyalty of their loving fans, N3W ERA was able to maintain a 26% lead over the other 9 contestants, making them the “OFFICIAL 2010 WILD OUT WEDNESDAY ALL STAR MVP Winners”. The All Star MVP Competition received a total of 187,000 mobile votes for all 9 participating contestants, of that N3W ERA received a total of 48,376 votes.
Tremendous opportunities are presenting themselves for the group, and while still remaining extremely humble, and embracing all of their new found success, N3W ERA is currently being extremely diligent and working hard on their EP schedule to be released in the Fall of this year.
Their talent and passion has captured the attention of local and abroad youth, while also setting high expectations to become a successful, world-wide phenomenon from industry veterans and major record labels. While at times it may all seem surreal to these talented young men, they all still strongly believe in their Motto, that Family + Passion + Dedication = N3W ERA.
