NA1AM

Born in Togo, Africa and migrating to America at age 5—NA1AM—grew up with an open perspective of the world around him. After moving to New Jersey and then New York,  his family settled down in Pittsburgh, PA. In his adolescence, NA1AM dabbled in making music and expanding his creative capabilities; taking inspiration from his community and major artists of the time such as Lil Wayne. Mature far beyond his years, NA1AM uses music as a way to connect with more people that—just like him—are figuring out life day by day. The now 24 year old is looking to book more live performances to win over his “undiscovered” fans. 

Late 2017, NA1AM decided to launch his debut single, "EViL"; a 3 minute 44 second introduction to his new listeners. "Gotta find my way" repeats throughout the track which resonated with his then (and now) mission to find his purpose in life. The record foreshadows his, now current, conversational style of writing. 

With the help of WiNWRLD (a creative collective of “family” members based in Suaga, Canada, Upstate New York, Washington D.C., and Pittsburgh, PA), NA1AM released his second single "Mind Soul"; however, his focus for 2018 was not to build a discography, but a tight-knit fanbase in parallel with the other WiNWRLD members. Starting in April, the collective set up pop-up shops the first week of every month until August. In the cities of Albany, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, Washington D.C., and Toronto, ON crowds of 100-200 creatives with similar passions (i.e. painting, drawing, poetry, music) attended to witness NA1AM and his collective members' talents being demonstrated. To wrap up 2018, WiNWRLD released a 10 track tape,  Play With Purpose, which featured 6 of their members (3 performed & written by NA1AM himself). 

Starting off 2019 with only 5 tracks in his discography, NA1AM was proud to release his first independent album, NA1AMzWORLD , in January. The project included stand out records like “Outta Ya Lane”, “22 East”,and—self titled— “NA1AM2x”. After linking up with rising producer, Bwitdaheat, the duo implemented their skills to create their debut EP, HEATWAVE (May 2019). The highly anticipated EP caught traction after his most recent live performance setlist included fan-favorites like: “Big Poppa”, “Misfits”, and “Originals". The number 1 track on the project, “Big Poppa”, received a handful of spins on local radio station, WAMO (100.1 FM). Following the success of HEATWAVE, NA1AM closed out the summer of 2019 with his 3rd single, "Artery".
