Elyse Santana

Elyse Santana, was born in Homestead, Fl. Ever since she was a little girl singing was always something that came very natural to her. For Elyse, there was never a feeling of wanting to be anything else; she knew it was her calling. Coming from a family that migrated from Mexico to the U.S that quickly rose to the top from nothing, Elyse’s family achieving their goals in life has really influenced her to achieve hers as well.

Another big influence in Elyse Santana’s life was the famous Tex/Mex artists Selena, who she admired growing up. At age 6, Elyse made her first appearance on stage at a Mexican heritage festival in her hometown, singing “Dreaming of You” by Selena. This first-time live performance was the ice breaker for Elyse, after that day she was unstoppable. She began performing at venues all over Dade and Broward County at festivals like; Calle Ocho, The Book Fair, Youth Fair, March of Dimes and playing the leads in several musical plays productions like, Candy Cane Lane in 5th grade, a Family Christmas play.

As for her educational years, she attended Mays Middle School where she took huge part in the magnet choir. Thereafter, Elyse attended New World School of the Arts located in Miami, where she was accepted into the Musical theater program to study intense Classical and Contemporary Broadway Music. She also studied dance, such as; Ballet and Contemporary Jazz. In addition, she studied the Fine Art of Acting.

Soon after high school, Elyse took the time to rethink about what she wanted and what was important to her, that was to be well rounded as an artist and to focus more on building knowledge in the music business industry. Elyse immediately jumped into the flow of making music again determined to stay in control and focused on her purpose. Now she is finally living her dream and fulfilling her vision with the help of a great team. She now works along with an awesome band that helps produce tracks to songs that she writes based on her life experiences, as well as accompanying her live while performing. Elyse Santana’s motive is to do it for the love, passion and with purpose. Forget about what other’s are doing and being the best, instead worry about being the best you can be and how you plan on sharing it with others.
