Nac/Hut Report

We are a two piece band. Brigitte Roussel(Voice, Noises, Electronics) and Li/EsE/Li (Guitar, Noises, Electronic).
We meet in Cracow in 2007, and in 2008 we started living togheter and working on music.
In the first period the project was a little chaotical and we just worked on composition of melodies and, as a side activity, we created a wide audio archive in witch we put every noise, or ineresting recording we could get. We've always been very interested in french "musique concrete" for its anti-intellectual and practical attitude. So we thought that we could create some kind of pop music just using recorded noises and adding guitars and voice tunes on it. During the year the project developed. We used more and more electronic drums, the guitars becomed more and more noisy, and we started cutting and paste the voice melodies untill they didn't fit to the other noises. When we work on music we like to consider everything simply as a recording. For us there is no difference between the recording of a guitar, of a voice or of a drill. We just cut, paste and deform everything untill we don't get something that sounds good to us. We're more interested in this kind of side-activities than in composition itself.
We worked on this album in Italy and Poland during the period between the beginning of 2009 and the beginning of 2010.
Actually we're wroking on the second Lp.
