Naked Jane is a band that hails from the middle-class suburbs of Lake Mary, Florida. Our music combines the infectious melodies of Pop, the musical complexity of Soft Rock, and the laid-back feeling of Reggae. We also bring a unique male-female vocal arrangement with emphasis on harmony as well as polyphony.
Our story begins in Jonny’s house in 2009 with the creation of “It’s Got Its Way.” Similar to the line “don’t you worry ‘bout a thing” our voyage has sort of worked itself out, thus far. With the support of our friends and family Naked Jane continues to progress and gather a strong Nudist (that’s what we like to call our fans) following.
Naked Jane is comprised of one bass, two guitars, one set of drums, and three microphones. Occupying the instruments are Dee Dee Albert on guitar and vocals, Jonny Ferrara on bass and vocals, Cameron Kraft on lead guitar, and Max Butler on drums and backup vocals. Unlike most bands who only associate with each other professionally, we consider ourselves to be close friends or as some might say: “Bandmates with Benefits.”
Our recent successes include the release of our debut album "Get Naked!" as well as shows with such artists as: Matisyahu, Badfish, Tribal Seeds, Ballyhoo, The Supervillains, and Passafire around the state of Florida. With our growing support we continue to play shows and spread Naked Jane’s music across the land.
