Naked Neighbors

Naked Neighbors was formed in 2006 and currently performing in Green Bay, the Fox Valley and surrounding areas. In December, they will be putting on their 4th Annual Toys For Tots benefit show, which has brought in hundreds of toys plus hundreds of dollars for the program since the first benefit in 2007. The band has headlined both the first and second annual Rockin’ the Woods festival, as well as closing the night after Jackyl and Firehouse at T&C’s Best Fest ’08 in DePere, WI.

In 2009, Naked Neighbors co-headlined the “They All Need Lovin’ Tour” with another Green Bay band, Fine Line. The 9-date tour and brainchild of bassist, Mike, provided an original twist never seen before. Each band performed three 55-minute sets on the same stage, with the twist being each changeover was done mid-song! Band members would filter on and off the stage during the selected song until one band was replaced entirely by the other. This one-of-a-kind performance captivated each and every person who witnessed it, often leading to comments such as, “Did you see that?” and “Wow, that was awesome!”

On February 13, 2010, Naked Neighbors hit a milestone by performing their 100th show. Upcoming shows include their debut at Revolution in Appleton (which will also host national acts Nonpoint, LA Guns and Adler’s Appetite), their third straight year headlining the annual Rockin’ the Woods festival and an inaugural appearance at Wisconsin State Fair. With over 45 years of combined experience, Naked Neighbors brings a maturity to the stage along with the enthusiasm more often found in bands with less time in the limelight.

The band name, Naked Neighbors, was procured during a night of beer drinking around a raging bonfire, a common occurrence in northern Wisconsin. A light went on at the adjacent house and straight out of the shower, there she was in the window, as naked as a jaybird. A cellphone was dialed and the words “Dude, you gotta get over here and see the naked neighbors!” were spoken. The rest is history....
