We The People, Lou Dominguez's third CD paints a fascinating portrait of the complexities of our culture as Americans. From immigrants to the working class and from religious hypocrites to Iraq War Veterans, this CD, written in less than one year, examines characters and situations that are unique to our experience. We The People takes you on a trip through the USA, from Capitol Hill to Dallas Texas, while meandering through small towns, including Lou's own hometown in Northern New Jersey, while venturing out to the Bronx and beyond.

Lous perceptive eye shines a light on what ails our country and culture - greed and the role money plays in our politics in songs like Citizens United and Tonight.  In Hey Jesus and Happy American Solstice Lou points out the hypocrisy of religious leaders and questions the true reason for the season. Yet songs like Record Store and Home Is Where The Heart Was take us back to Lous youth and are autobiographical in nature for this first generation American of Cuban descent.

While We The People examines how a tragedy like the shootings in Newtown, CT weigh on us as a nation, Dominguez can still turn around to lighten up and deliver a comical talking blues narrative in The Facebook Song, unfortunately, a true story, but perfect fodder for a writer. With a new record in the works and only 300 Facebook Friends, Lou sent some friend requests to friends of his friends. Youll hear how he was absurdly placed in "Facebook Jail" Really? Yes! The topical nature, delivery and texture of this CD firmly position this singer/songwriter among some of the best of his peers in the acoustic music world. Produced by John Jennings, a multi-Grammy nominated producer, We The People also gently approaches other styles such as a sultry jazz piece in Weight of the World while employing Latin influences in Home Is Where The Heart Was, while never losing the acoustic flavor that defines this CD.

Lou has been playing in venues for the past 8 years as Brother Lou in Hollywood, Florida and in the Northeast U.S.  Lou and his wife Ellen currently spend time in Hollywood, Florida and Vienna, Virginia.
