Bio
I grew up in an 8,000 person town with one light. My dad played gypsy guitar and my mama listened to jazz. I played the upright piano as a kid, and sang along to all the songs.
When I was 18 she moved to NYC and was briefly in a trip hop band with producers Icon, and the played at the Knitting Factory, Open Air, Tonic, and Cetera. After they split, I split too, all over the world, traveling, writing, drinking and thinking.
A few years later I moved to Los Angeles, and found it an amazing and lonely lonely place. To soothe the isolation I bought a cheap little Yamaha and downloaded classical sheet music off the internet- Chopin, Rachmaninov, Otte- to play around with, but found myself writing more. So... that's the story, but with all that said I really just loving music. I feel like I bleed it out... if nothing else, my stuff is from the heart.
