N.A.M.E

Raheem Lashawn Fulmore also known as N.A.M.E (NEW ARTIST MORE EXPECTATIONS) was born on august 26, 1990. He was raised in brooklyn, New York in an area called Bed-stuy. He has eight sibblings, five brothers (5) and three sisters (3). Growing up his mom was in the streets and always in jail, so his grandmother took him in and raised him until she passed away. when N.A.M.E grandmother passed away his aunt theresa stepped up to the plate n beganed to raise him until she passed away 1 year later. His older sister then began to raise him, she showed him that where theres a will there's a will there's a way. Raheem wasn't into rapping growing up, his interest was into basketball. At the age fifteen(15) Raheem was inspired by his brother/manager Darren also known as Tazzo, and his two (2) cousins Dezo, and Bear. N.A.M.E remembered his two cousins and his brother when they were called Goodfellaz. N.A.M.E saw the movement that Goodfellaz was making and then said to himself " i can see myself doing music one day". When name came up with his first rap he bought it to his brother to listen to it. When tazzo heard it he was very impressed. Tazzo then gave him the name beast. That day he acceted the name and stood behind it 100%. At the age 18 Raheem went to his brother and asked him what do he think about his name changing from "BEAST" to his name being N.A.M.E. He lost Tazzo for a second, because tazzo didnt know where he was going with that. N.A.M.E. then broke it down to him. NAME exact words were " why should i try and find a unique name when i can just call myself N.A.M.E. Tazzo was very shocked but more impress because he knew that NAME was maturing n it was a great name to run with. N.A.M.E is a very ecletic artist and his style and his swagg alone will sell out a stadium. His music is just amazing. NAME idol/favorite artist is Jay-Z. not only because he's from Brooklyn like NAME, but he makes good music.NAME say to people that he see himself as becoming the next best artist to come out of Brooklyn following in the steps of his idol Jay-Z and R.I.P B.I.G. NAME has performed at many local lounges throughout the 5 boroughs. The biggest place he has performed at was "RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL". He was very happy to be on the same stage where many of the great entertainers he looks up to into the music industry has performed on. NAME will be the next big thing out of brooklyn.
