NameLess

NameLess

BandHip Hop

In rap music today, there are few (if any) artists that come close to NameLess' signature sound. NameLess' music combines genuine songwriting with driving rhythms and powerful themes. Called by some the "Positive Eminem", NameLess is pushing the limits of the genre.

Biography

NameLess was 14 years old when he found that he had a passion for rap and hip hop. Not just listening to it, but writing it, and eventually, performing it. But it was a talent for freestyle that propelled NameLess to a whole new level, earning him respect in the ultra-competitive world of hip-hop "It was after school and two guys wanted to battle," says Nameless. “I blew them away.”

The rest is history.

Already one of the most listened to regional artists on My Space, the recent release of the CD Chasing Dreams has generated more than just buzz. A CD release concert at the legendary Vintage Vinyl in St. Louis’ Delmar Loop was followed closely by a gig opening for national artist Krystal Meyers.

NameLess’ follow-up single, the My Space themed “In Her Top 8” has already surpassed the play totals of some previous online hits like Boom Drop and Crazy.

Already an experienced performer and songwriter, NameLess is nowhere close to satisfied. New songs are being written and produced for upcoming albums, and new fans are discovering NameLess' signature style everyday.

NameLess has been featured in several magazines and news outlets in recent months, including ETC Magazine, Louie Magazine, The Belleville News Democrat and the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Please Don't

VERSE ONE

React!! Its time to put my lines on wax

Gotta find my tracks, or I might collapse

My mind goes black, actin that all is fine

I’m like Johnny Cash, tryin to walk the line

Tryin to be honest in a prison of lies

I’m in a fairy tale, it’s like the wizard of oz

Not in Kansas no more, I’m just kissin goodbye

Friends blown in the sky, their missin their lives

The limelight won’t shine on ropes I’m against

Hope is missed, phone a friend, time to go home again

Stressin out, workin on a lot of my raps

And if people don’t like it, then I gotta adapt

I make a song without knowin, what it’s about

Seems like I’m screamin loud till my voice goes out

Hear ya sing along, so it must have been live

I guess this is life man, hustling to survive

Hear ya sing along, so it must have been live

I guess this is life man, hustling to survive

CHORUS

Here I am mumbling stumbling on backroads

Gotta back up, but ain’t got a back bone

See they, think I’m drivin down the freeway

They don’t need me, just please don’t leave me

Here I am mumbling stumbling on backroads

Gotta back up, but ain’t got a back bone

See they, think I’m drivin down the freeway

They don’t need me, just please don’t leave me

VERSE TWO

It’s hard to know exactly what to say in a song

In one moment I think I’m here to stay, then I’m gone

Lost in the poster boards, hangin in the city

I’m just another pretty face, without the pretty

Just a normal person with far-fetched dreams

Earnin a paycheck, is all that it seems

Watchin tv to see the life of a star

After all, I’m drivin with my trashy car

It ain’t right when it rains, it leaks in my ride

Passenger side on the side of the street when it dies

But I keep on stepping cuz I aint gunna fall

Standin tall, but determined to give it my all

Makin a song about absolutely nothing at all

Can’t imagine if it was bein hummed through the halls

It’s 430 in the morning and I’m still writin

Startin to hear things my hearts still cryin

Switch it up, always gotta keep it changing

Gear up ya brain while your mind frame’s aging

All the beats I’m slayin, keep the music playin

Rantin n Ravin, layin on the pavement

Things are goin so fast, I dunno how to react

All my battles and raps, I wanna travel the map

Theres only one God gave me one mic to do this

Got all the right tools, just don’t know how to use it

CHORUS (2X)
