Namesake is:
* A group of six individuals who have been brought together from all over the world for one purpose: to lift up and praise the name of Jesus Christ.
* Six dynamic performers with years in the professional entertainment and Fine Arts world, bringing with them a wide range of experience and talent.
* Six men and women who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the one who guides and directs their lives. They are nothing without Him and He deserves all the praise.
* Six individuals who know the power of praise and worship and the impacting change it can have in the lives of people.
What does NAMESAKE do?
We gloriously proclaim to all people in all nations the wonderful name of Jesus Christ through song and testimony, through praise and worship. Wherever we go, whatever we do, it's all for His Namesake! (Psalm 23:3)
What is NAMESAKE'S music?
Solid Ground - A Praise & Worship Experience is the first album recorded by NAMESAKE. The songs on SOLID GROUND cross the lines of contemporary pop, gospel, and rock to more intimate expressions of praise and worship. But no matter what the style SOLID GROUND is fueled by a passionate thirst for God's word and His excellence above all other things.
SOLID GROUND - A PRAISE & WORSHIP EXPERIENCE will be released in 2009. In anticipation of this, NAMESAKE will be releasing (3) promotional singles: "PRAISE YOU," "LIFT YOU UP," and "SOLID GROUND."
