« Afro-Musette without Visa »
From here or there, between West African and textsongs, Namogodine drives us into a universe that is no longer quite here, yet neither completely there. One of these delicate inbetween with songs from Burkina-Faso interact with diatonic accordion, guitar or nomadic ngoni, combining to lift themselves beyond borders. Sweet and spicy, the music of NAMOGODINE combines rural France with the African griots and melts language with sounds.
Singers, slam poets, sometimes dreamers, sometimes realistic, they are storytellers of life, storytellers that lets us travel with poetry and dance all night.
A freshly explosive mixture, with the thrill of good humor and without borders, the Afro-Musette cannot be told ... Just like happiness that passes, it is caught, savored and offers itself to others.
