“NAOMION”

Introducing the Newest R&B Sensation "NAOMION"

Considered a breath of fresh air by many because of her unique, clever and hip vocal styles, NAOMION paves the way for herself by constantly creating a buzz.

She has been compared to the vocal styles of Whitney Houston, Tamia, and Minnie Riperton by those who hear her.

NAOMION has been singing and performing since the tender age of 3.
Developing her skills as a child by singing gospel music in the church.
While Naomion’s influences through out the years have been “Aaliyah”, Janet Jackson, and Mariah Carey.

In 1998, NAOMION made history in her high school by performing at Madison Square Garden, singing the “National Anthem” at the N.Y. Knicks N.B.A. Basketball game. That year she also landed a lead role in the re-production of “Ain’t Misbehavin.

In 1999, NAOMION, organized and produced her 1st successful gospel concert with over 200 spectators, at “Heritage Baptist Church” Bayshore N.Y. This same year she asked to perform again at Madison Square Garden, singing the “National Anthem” at the N.Y. Liberty W.N.B.A. Basketball game.

In fall of 2000, NAOMION attended S.U.N.Y. Albany where she was the lead soloist in her schools gospel choir “The Angelic Voices of Praise” and became the musical entertainment for Albany’s Pan Carribean Organization. NAOMION also modeled for different New York City fashion designers like Moshood and Jewel Shannon.

In May 2001, NAOMION was awarded 1st prize Apollo winner beating out 100 other competitors in a Talent Show Contest in Delaware.

In 2002, NAOMION organized and produced her 2nd and 3rd successful gospel concerts with over 800 spectators, in New York. Both Shows sparked the interest of different veteran producers, and musicians that NAOMION began to work with.

In 2003, NAOMION competed in a 7-segment competition in Harlem N.Y., coming in 2nd place.
This year launched a new turning point for NAOMION’s music career. NAOMION organized and produced 4th successful concert. This time showcasing her fresh, hip urban R&B style of music.

Through out 2004-2006 NAOMION, has been writing and recording songs for her upcoming debut Album, as well as writing for other artists and various movie soundtracks.

This summer 2006, NAOMION will be releasing her 1st single off her debut Album Coming Soon...

Winter 2006 NAOMION will be performing and promoting her music at different venues and arenas thru out the country.
