O som da Narcotic Love é pop e é rock, mas não é poprock. É pop por ser dançante, chiclete e se tornar impossível não bater o pézinho. É rock pela atitude que se percebe nas distorções e nas influências eletro que diferenciam a banda do rock nacional convencional.
Juntos estes elementos formam um misto que agrada tanto clubbers embalados a energéticos em uma noite frenética quanto rockers de paletó e mullets com seus cigarros no canto da boca e uma garrafa de whisky nas mãos.

Aliás, na internet eles já fazem bastante sucesso, pois o clipe da música Show Me Heaven, sem dúvida o melhor exemplar do álbum que pode ser baixado na íntegra aqui, foi o vídeo em formato HD mais acessado no Dailymotion (pra quem não sabe, é uma espécie de YouTube europeu, quase tão famoso quanto) em setembro de 2008.
O clipe já começa materializando o nome da banda: uma seringa contendo um líquido rosa com a inscrição “love”. Ela passa de mão em mão até chegar ao usuário final, uma bela menina que anseia por amor e felicidade e ao injetar-se com o líquido proposto muda sua postura, abre os horizontes e vai curtir a vida. Aos que possam interpretar o ato como uma apologia às drogas, aconselho rever o clipe com um conceito analógico um pouco mais amplo. É uma apologia à vida e à música de qualidade, que injetadas na corrente sanguínea podem transformar o indivíduo que as recebe.
Esta mesma música ganhou um remix feito pelo DJ chileno Sokio. Outra curiosidade da banda é que o segundo single, Breakdown, serviu de trilha sonora para o programa Ídolos, do SBT.

A primeira vista tu pode achar que é uma banda estrangeira. Na primeira audição também, mas a banda é bem brasileira, de São Paulo.
Eu recebi a adição deles há um tempo atrás e gostei muito das músicas. Apesar de serem em inglês talvez visando fãs tanto brasileiros quanto estrangeiros. O som não perdeu a qualidade. É um rock com toques de eletrônico, influências de black music... Pra tocar na balada e até em casa, curtindo as músicas.
O myspace deles é bem completo, tem uma bio bastante completa que dispensa minhas apresentações aqui. Tem vídeos, fotos e um layout muito bem feito.
Eu recomendo conhecerem o som do Narcotic Love, quem gosta de eletrônico e de um bom rock.

At first glance you may think that is a foreign band. At the first hearing as well, but the band is very Brazilian, from Sao Paulo.
I received the addition of them a while ago and I liked the songs. Despite being in English aimed at fans perhaps both Brazilians and foreigners. The sound quality is not lost. O Narcotic Love é uma banda de São Paulo que foi formada no final do ano de 2006.
O primeiro álbum foi gravado no estúdio YB e é atualmente distribuído gratuitamente pelos sites de música como o Trama Virtual, Pure Volume e Mondo77.fm, lá você consegue fazer o download de todas as músicas e começar a sacar o som dessa banda que entre batidas dançantes canta algumas baladas como “Your Smile” por exemplo.
O disco que tem 11 faixas foi mixado e masterizado pelo produtor Diego Techera em conjunto com o NL. O disco trás em sua essência o rock com uma pegada eletrônica, o que torna a banda uma boa pedida para animar uma pista de dança numa festa.

Vc gosta de algo mais dançante, não pera ai, Bem dançante? misturando riffs de rock and roll e levadas eletrônicas? Então escuta ae Narcotic Love, a banda tem ao mesmo tempo uma personalidade forte e dançante. Particularmente, essa é uma das bandas mais diferentes da atualidade pra mim :)!
