Narration ended 2007 by winning XFM's unsigned competition, packing out London's Fly Bar and travelling to America, where they performed on air for WBRU. Silversun Pickups, Against Me! and Avenged Sevenfold were also part of the radio station's birthday celebrations.
2008 has begun as brightly as 2007 finished. Narration played to the biggest, most excitable crowd of the night at John Kennedy's XFM gig and The Fly Magazine has predicted a busy year for the young Twickenham band. Elsewhere, the national press have compared Narration to Radiohead, Brand New & Smashing Pumpkins, and declared them more melodically exciting than Coldplay.
