"Natalie Gaza and Post Op Trance “50 Thousand Feet”"

Indiana’s Natalie Gaza with her new band Post Op Trance’s first single “50 Thousand Feet” is a dense rocker that so much mass and swagger that it would put any of the classic arena gods to shame. Cherry picking its way through the best bits of the last 60 years of rock and americana, this song is guaranteed to please. - Pop Occulture

"Local Anesthetic Playlist Features Natalie Gaza's New Release Constant Mercy"

I won’t boil on about how many hours yesterday’s show required to get right. I had a core of things that I was definitely going to play but went back and forth seemingly endlessly about the remaining 3-4 tracks I needed to complete the show. It wasn’t a for a lack of good music to choose from; I probably have enough strong new releases from Chicago bands to last me well in to September. No, it was a matter of just finding the right combination of sounds and energies. Having spent all of Saturday afternoon and a big chunk of Sunday morning mixing and matching a bunch of tunes, last night’s show finally felt right to me. And, there you go. Having said I wasn’t going to boil on about the hours spent tweaking the mix, I did so anyway. C’est la vie. Just about everybody you heard has a gig coming up this week. Many Places will be at Virgin Hotel this Thursday. Truman and His Trophy will be playing Burlington on Saturday night as part of Fickle Cycle Fest. Chris Ligon (and Heather McAdams) is at the Prop Theater on Saturday night. Umphrey’s McGee will probably play somewhere, sometime. Always do. Vamos are at Crown Liquors on Thursday. Natalie Gaza and Post Op Trance play Fearless Fest at Miller Beach on Saturday! - WXRT Local Anesthetic
