"Tehkumah Talk and Times"

"... and as the evening came to a close it was so still, not a breath of wind. You could have heard a pin drop as Natalie Edward sang her renditions of Amazing Grace and In the Arms of an Angel. What a blessing this girl's voice is." - The Manitoulin Expositor

"New And True"

This first album shows tremendous promise - it is a little raw and entirely honest. Natalie has great range and demonstrates real feeling in delivering her lyrics. Here's hoping that the inevitable polish that will come with future efforts will keep the slightly rough edges intact. Natalie is a singer who yearns to make a connection with her listeners, almost as though she is singing to two or three friends in her living room. Compared to all of the packaged, pretty voices out there, these songs sound pure and true. - iTunes Review

Bio

Born in 1988, Natalie Edward is a young, fresh face in the Canadian Independent Music scene. Influences come from Sarah Mclachlan, Jewel, Joni Mitchell, Janis Joplin, The Cranberries, David Gray, Damien Rice, and much more.

Natalie grew up in Mississauga, Ontario, but moved to Vancouver at the age of 18, which was when the EP project "October" was born. October, released in 2007, is a pop/rock/roots EP that portrays the very beginning of her life away from home.

Since recording October, Natalie’s style has slowly developed into the folk/roots genre, a style that is becoming better suited to her voice and songwriting.
