Bio
Natalie Magee is a dedicated young singer/songwriter based in Canberra. Natalie loves to perform live and writes original music which reflects her influences from a diverse range of genres.
Natalie performed 120 live shows in 2009 and is nearing this number for 2010.
Natalie was recently invited to perform three shows of her original music at The National Folk Festival, where she was joined for a special performance by internationally renowned guitarist Jeff Peterson from the USA.
She has held three sold out self titled shows at The Street Theatre in Canberra in 2007, 2008 and 2010 and was a special guest at jazz vocalist Kristin Berardi's show at The Street Theatre in February 2010.
She is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Music at the ANU School of Music, majoring in Jazz Vocals. Natalie is also influenced in her song writing by musicians such as John Mayer, Missy Higgins, John Butler Trio, Adele and Bobby Flynn.
Natalie combines her jazz sensibility with her love for contemporary music to create her own unique sound and original music.
She is passionate about live performance, meeting and working with musicians from all genres and creating and supporting original music.
