In 2009 and 2010, Natalie Reiss was shortlisted in the Vanda & Young Song Competition, placed as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and listed as one of the Top 10 Female Artists of the Year by StarCentral Magazine.
Having already earned a coveted spot on POPJUSTICE.COM (her song Scarlet Fever was named ‘song of the day’), Natalie Reiss is one to watch. This Sydney bred songstress was both number 1 and 2 on the TRIPLE J UNEARTHED charts in March 2008 and was runner up The Australian Songwriters Association 27th AUSTRALIAN SONGWRITING CONTEST. Proving that pop is not a dirty word, Natalie Reiss has mastered the art of penning meaningful lyrics, whilst simultaneously creating tunes that you can’t help but tap your toes to. Keep your eye on this one, Reiss was also one of the Top 30 artists in Commercial Radio Australia’s New Artist 2 Radio competition in both 2007 and 2008, she was a winner in 2008’s 10th Annual Great American Song Contest and received an Honorable mention in the Billboard World Song Contest.
