Bio
Poised to burst onto the Canadian Country Music scene in 2005, Natalye Vivian, has been preparing for a music career since the age of 10. She got her start with the Toronto based touring musical "Evita" and hasn't looked back.
Having spent time living in Edmonton, Calgary, Montreal and Heart's Delight Newfoundland, this talented young performer now calls Vancouver home. The past two years have seen Natalye writing, recording and touring around Western Canada with several different bands. Her road stories include a harrowing 2004 tour that featured a non-English speaking bass player, and a van accident that fatally injured a deer and left the band stranded in High Level Alberta for just shy of two weeks.
Drawing inspiration from the path cut by artists like Shania Twain and Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Vivian is encouraged by what she sees, hears and believes is a strong future for women with her sound in the current Country Music landscape. Her influences heavily include the two aforementioned superstars along with the inventive Keith Urban and the classic sound of Shelby Lynne.
Managed by Vancouver's The Frontside Group and ready to release her debut single and album in mid-2005, Natalye Vivian is excited to hit the road to promote her new material.
