Nate's new album, Observation Street was released on iTunes May 21, 2010. This album is all original music and is being submitted for Grammy consideration.



Nate Collinsworth is a young, energetic and devoted trumpet player with a background in many different styles of music. His unique sound and original compositions captivates you as you begin to experience an uplifting global journey. His music encompasses his world travel, his flair for progressive sounds, while bringing all types of musical fans together. Fans become immediately consumed by his tunes because they become entranced in his story lines. He has perfected his sounds by being the consummate musician's musician. He has played with the best.

From the House of Blues, to live shows on elegant cruise ships, to touring with Grammy-winning artists, Collinsworth’s relaxed approach to high standards of musicianship makes the audience want more every time.

In stints with the Jimmy Dorsey Band, Princess, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity cruise lines, plus shows with Dionne Warwick, Burt Bacharach, Ben Vereen, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gormè, Collinsworth developed a reputation as a confident master of his horn and a strong musical leader.

He has traveled to more than 50 countries and all 50 states during his career. As a musician for Bradley House Studios he has performed on numerous CDs. He is also an artist for Xstream Music Products.

His musical training includes the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Berklee College of Music and the Virginia Governor’s Magnet School for the Arts. He also spent 4 years in the United States Army, and was a graduate of the Armed Forces School of Music. Nate is a member of ASCAP.
