Bio

While studying law in Washington, D.C., Nate Fleischer found his muse in the drain that is law school. A long time musician originally from Philadelphia, Nate was ovecome with an need to express himself musically while committed to studying the dry, dense material provided by law school. Thus, he decided to begin writing new songs in 2006, creating his best material to date.

Before law school, Nate was a guitar teacher at the Paul Green School of Rock music, which has been featured in many publications and is the subject of a critically acclaimed documentary called "Rock School." Nate also recorded many of Rock School's earliest shows and was an original member of the Faculty. During his tenure at Rock School, Nate played in an emo band called the "I In Team," as well.

Nate Fleischer's songs are ecclectic, spanning many genres, while remaining accessible, singable, and relevant. His influences are many but include: Paul Simon, The Bee Gees, Billy Joel, The Beatles, Roy Wood, Donovan, and early rockabilly.

In writing music, Nate endeavors to subvert the trend of depressing, self-absorbed content by focusing on uplifting melodies, memorable choruses, and relatable lyrics. His lyrics touch on myriad themes including: relationships, hope, self-dependance, and love as a life-goal.

Although Nate is a relative newcomer to songwriting, one listen will leave you singing, thinking, and feeling good.
