Bio
The Nate Jones Band, based in Northeast
Ohio, blends elements of rock, blues, folk,
and country music to form a unique,
soulful sound.
Formed in 2013, the Nate Jones Band blends the soulfulness of singer-songwriter folk with the funkiness of blues-based rock and roll. Their sound is characterized by
soaring lead vocals, lush, rhythmic guitar work, and tight
arrangements. Nate Jones has been writing,
recording, and performing since 2004,
mainly as a solo artist.
The band's arsenal of songs is full of rich
harmonic changes, lyrical depth, and
diversified styles and tempos. Bassist and keyboardist Seth Bain is a multi-instrumentalist
with years of performing experience on guitar,
bass, and keyboards. Drummer Stuart Laven, Jr. brings both power and subtlety to Jones' sometimes-rocking, sometimes-delicate catalog.
The Nate Jones Band has performed across the US, and will embark on spring tours on the east and west coasts.
