Bio
Formed by Nathan Miller in Denton, TX, in 2010 as an outlet for songs he had written based on Bible texts and old hymns. Adding violin, keys, and a slough of singers gave the Loverlies their distinctively independent sound, but it was the addition of the striking lead vocals and songwriting of Elise Petrosky that helped them become who they are. Two EPs were recorded, mixed, and mastered in 2011 by Eric Nicholson and McKenzie Smith (Midlake), and by film composer Jurgen Beck.
