Bio
Born in a small town in Mexico, and raised in a very artistic family she is a 23 year old singer and self taught Songwriter. A wild spirit traveling abroad to discover and share music.
Natalia (Nath) has always been a creative and curious soul with a huge love towards all things and connection to higher subjects such as universal truth, emotions, poetry and meaning; as a kid, she always faced lonely periods of time in which she reflected and learnt by herself; that was the seed for her to find a way to communicate and express her infinite imagination through art and more specifically: music.
She started singing since she was 5 years old, self taught herself how to play the piano and composed her first song at the age of 14. She grew up listening to the radio, and truly found the real inspiration once she discovered blues and jazz as a suggestion from her teacher. Most of the influence behind her singing came from artists like: Nina Simone, BB King, Beth Hart, Tom Waits, Chet Baker, Ella Fitzgerald, to name a few.
Inspiration from such genres shaped her purpose: connecting with others through the honesty and passion within real raw performances, emotional and thoughtful lyrics and simple yet hypnotizing songwriting,
With a strong sound and fearless singing, the production behind her previous work takes you to a more Alternative sound, but the real magic occurs when she performs live; giving you the chance to feel moved, hypnotized and get all the chills.
Without a doubt the best words to describe her singing and music would be: Honesty, emotion and passion.
