The all-consuming band National Snack are returning to their spiritual home of Hastings on Sunday- kisking off their hundred show Euro-tour.
Forget your Ramones wannabes and your souless house 12 inches- all you need is two guitars, three vocalists and plenty of stomp.
it was a gig in Hastings that first inspired the band to ditch the tired scene of precocious youngsters enviously groping for the limelight in London, and embrace the experience of dissolving into the crowd and sparking up the mood.
Described as a foot stamping string snapping acoustic trio, National Snack make music about draining friends, days of rage, moments of abandoned ecstasy, the conflict necessary for togetherness, and the togetherness necessary for conflict.

Bio
National Snack try to sound like the Ikettes singing Prince songs with Nirvana but we probably sound quite different to that.
National Snack began in a flat above an amp shop in the alley behind Denmark Street, London. Since then we've gone from big showy pomp and feathers to stomping stamping acoustic and back again. we've played dirthole venues and untouched islands. We've played in Boxted and we've played in Russia.
When we're not arguing we enjoy playing rock n roll music together.
'The Enormous Projects 1-4' is out now on DIY label Scatty Cat Records and available for FREE download here: http://nationalsnack.bandcamp.com/album/enormous-projects-1-4
