National Tape

Combining infectious melodies, relatable lyrics and a dash of pop sensibilities, National Tape offers a sound reminiscent of Joel Plaskett or The Kings of Leon, but a final product that is all their own. Lead guitarist and vocalist Colin Piazza energizes their melodies with his sprightly lyrics and preponderate stage presence, providing a large portion of what makes this band’s live act so exciting and enjoyable.

Since their formation in early 2010, National Tape has been working hard and gaining hype in their native town of Victoria, British Columbia. Currently, they are in studio recording their first album which is due to be released later this year. In addition to many upcoming performances in Victoria, National Tape are preparing to infiltrate the northern-most half of Vancouver Island this Spring with their first tour; including shows in Cumberland, Courtenay, Nanaimo and across the pond in Vancouver.
