A truly unique and unusual journey has created what we now call Nation of David! Originally bought together through the gospel production Unequally Yoked (2006), and while filming the trailer for the Unequally Yoked movie it was required that the music be recorded and there the journey began. CEO of 2 the Moon Productions decided that this great group of singers and musicians needed their own identity apart from the production. The name Nation of David was given in March 2007 and the group was official. While in the studio it was decided to release the soundtrack for Unequally Yoked and "The Answer" CD was released on April 21, 2007. Since the albums released N.O.D. has been highly requested for performances and appearances and growth has happened literally overnight, from small church gatherings, public events, and concerts with thousands. What is unique about Nation of David is the members themselves. There are literally all age ranges , and members from different walks of life, with the unique blend of members, the sound that Nation of David produces is unique and universal. This is evident by a growing fan base in locations such as Italy, the UK, and the Caribbean to name a few! Nation of David is truly able to produce a sound for a wide array of audiences from traditional settings, contemporary, jazz, soul, and classical. Some of the bands influences range from Take 6, Kirk Franklin, Stevie Wonder and John Williams.
