Bio

Nat Towsen has been performing standup comedy since 2004, in such Boston clubs as The Comedy Connection, The Comedy Studio, Jimmy Tingle's Off-Broadway Theatre, Nick's Comedy Stop, All Asia, Dick Doherty's, ImprovBoston, Improv Asylum, Steve Sweeney's, and Cheers (the real one). In New York, he has performed at Caroline's, The Comedy Cellar, Comix, Gotham Comedy Club, Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre, Rififi, The Pinch, and many other comedy clubs. He has also performed at Harvard, NYU, BU, and Emerson College. In November 2006, he performed in The Comedy Connection's Future of Comedy Showcase. He is the former co-host of The Original Zings of Comedy, a weekly two-hour standup showcase that incorporated sketch and improv comedy, as well as live music. The show ran for five months, until the hosts chose to terminate it in order to work on other projects. Nat was a member of the sketch troupe Zebro. He is also a graduate of This Is Pathetic, a long-form improv troupe founded by David Cross, Anthony Clark, and Laura Kightlinger. He has studied with the Upright Citizen's Brigade. He currently hosts the weekly standup/variety show, "The Moon."
