"Camp Barefoot"

Natural Born Easy seemed to have the thermostat under thumb, upping the heat several notches on a sizzling ”Born Under a Bad Sign” by applying dueling, reverb drenched, slide-guitar solos over Eric Hamrock’s squawky, tube-driven harmonica. -Rev. Zicka-Funk - High Times

"Camp Barefoot"

Natural Born Easy brought some southern rock, good and strong, combining ripping guitar lines with some excellent John Fogerty/Greg Allman-influenced vocals. -jeffro - blogspot

"Soundquilt Music Festival"

"Natural Born Easy plays fun-loving music with a southern sound, fat earthy blues, some classic-sounding guitar solos, a sustaining bass line, and well-placed crunch and punch. The richness of instrumental sounds emphasize the blues, the harmonica and keyboards add depth of style. Any person can fall under the influence of Natural Born Easy's wild. southern. blues. jam." - Beckworld

Bio

Natural Born Easy is a four piece band plus a singer and soloist with its roots in Frederick County, Virginia. The first lineup began playing together in December of 2001, although the members have been friends for years and share a long history of making music.

Current members of NBE Eric Hamrock, Rob Rudd, Seth Morrissey, Erik Settle, Paul Davis, and Jerry Hammack cultivate their unique sound with the influences of electric blues, 60’s and 70’s country, soul and southern rock artists such as: Muddy Waters, Allman Brothers, Marshall Tucker, David Allan Coe, Bocephus, Gov’t Mule, Derek Trucks, Eric Clapton, Shooter Jenings, The Band, Billy Joe Shaver, John Lee Hooker, Drive-By Truckers, Robert Randolph and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Over the last three years NBE has brought their powerful chemistry and musicality to premier slots at major regional festivals such as The Wilderness Jam, Sound Quilt Music Festival, Spaghetti Fest, Camp Barefoot and Shortman’s Falldown. In the past Natural Born Easy has shared the bill with Vince Welnick, Walnut Grove, Moonshine Still, Modern Groove Syndicate, Barefoot Manner, The Bridge, Nanjemoy Creek Boys, DJ Williams Projekt, Garaj Mahal, Midnight Spaghetti, Ubiquitone, RAQ, The Breakfast, The Man, Tribal Tongue and countless other regional bands.Based in the Washington/Baltimore area, NBE has gigged from Upstate New York to North Carolina’s Outer Banks and will soon be ridin’ into a town near you.

A quintessential Natural Born Easy show features a dynamic and melodic flavor of original music coupled with classic deep cuts pulled from a vast and diverse catalog. Vocalist Eric Hamrock’s hallmark harmonica warble gives the band an unwashed bluesy sound that balances the crackling of the outlaw country tunes. NBE originals have a well crafted structure and thunderous lyrics that evoke emotions of American-Rooted lamentations. But whether you are wearing a designer dress, patchwork pants or an oversized belt buckle, a mid-set psychedelic country strut will bring your true renegade to the surface. And if they catch you sitting down, NBE will pull a funk groove from their holster that punctuates the fact that they are there foremost to have good time.

Natural Born Easy proudly wears the tag of “Entertainers” bringing their PBR powered blues to large venues, intimate clubs of all sizes and private parties. And though the shows last until the wee hours of the morning, NBE keeps the crowd inspiredwith their infectious energy while each exhaustive and propulsive set dares the audience to match their intensity. A crazy man with a harmonica, incendiary guitar riffs, the ringing of a can-I-get-a-witness organ solo and the irresistible punch of drum and bass guarantees that you ain’t seen nothing until you’ve seen Natural Born Easy.
