Naughtlia taps into the melodic side of present human desparation in a sound friends have described as "heavy chill". Twisting time signatures to suit melody, blending in the light and dark elements of post modern global culture, we are driven to allow the full range of being alive to come forward in a high energy onslaught that has definitely been missing from your life.
Sonic influences run a range from Monk chants to Tool, Thom Yorke to Dog Fashion Disco,
Nirvana to Rufus Wainwright. As a conceptual basis we rely on unconscious processes of expression, the lessons of hallucination and the process of disillusionment.
