H-n-X

One the most highly touted groups in the North Carolina underground hip hop circuit has to be H-n-X (which stand for Hostile and Xxplicit…just in case you didn’t know). H-n-X is Comprised of Lamar Brown, the H in H-n-X (better known to the public as Brizzo da Beast) and Monte Hailey, the X in H-n-X (often called the Loose cannon) Over the past few years the charismatic duo has continually raised the stakes for other artist not only in there small town of Laurinburg, NC but for artist all over the Tar heel state as well by combining an unprecedented sincerity with undeniable lyrical artistry earning the duo praises all along the southeast and not just their home state of NC.

The talented duo has performed all over the southeast region including opening act credits for 112, Juvenile, T-pain, Rascal Flats, Da Band, Citty, Maceo, Pastor Troy and Cassidy among others. Being able to perform for different types of crowds has allowed, as well as forced, H-n-X to think outside of the box when it comes to production for their music.

Over the years H-n-X have been fortunate enough to work with many different styles of producers including: Seth Martel of Blak Gang (Salem, NJ), Pete “da Great” Selasi (ATL,GA), Impact for collision Course(Greensboro, NC), Mayo of MQSC (Laurinburg, NC), Kenote (Raleigh, NC), Maximus Music (Greensboro NC) as well as the highly sought after Track HEADS (Durham, NC). Taking the vast selection of good music to perform the duo has done shows at numerous colleges (UNCP, Wingate University, Winston Salem State), clubs (Rum Runners, Level II, the Palace, Black Ties, Club 508, Sugar Bares) as well as local numerous community events in NC.

With the release and success of H-n-X’s most recent mixtape “U r all Witness Vol. 1 hosted By Dj Greg Nasty” the talented duo seems poised for success with numerous upcoming promotional shows for H-n-X. Be prepared to testify because “U R a Witness”
