Influences
David had already been heavily influenced by great songwriters like Tommy Sims and Lauryn Hill. He was also influenced by great bands like the Roots and The Dave Matthews Band. Content
David James writes songs about life and love, but from the perspective of someone who walks with and is daily dependent on God. A fan appropriately called the album's content "Life Music".
