FIVE years in the game and he’s still hungry for more.
Daniel
“Independent” Weisberg is more than just another rapper from Chicago.
He’s an artist whose music paints the journey of his life in Chicago and
the happenings in the world. For him, rapping started off as a hobby
and quickly transformed into a passion.
Realizing the talent of
writing thought provoking songs, hard punchlines & catchy hooks
began the start of Independent. He depicts a different view of the world
and breaks the stereotype of angry, hardcore raps with his poetic
choice of words. He’s a student of the game with a growing fan base in
Chicago, having been the featured guest at many performances. As a
member of Donda’s House, and under the guidance of Rhymefest and add2,
his developing his craft and accounts much of his success to not only
staying consistent but remaining positive.
His consistency led to
the release of his mixtape Grind Harder, and he is currently working on
his second EP about love. His featured performances on ABC7 Chicago and
numerous appearances at live shows and open mics have helped propel him
in his mission to become a rap legend.
Independent is a young
rapper on his way to conquer the rap game with style and technique that
is passionate, creative, and conscious. His music comes from his heart
and is fueled by his hunger for success.
