Bio

Since their inception in 2002, New York City's Near Forever has been captivating live audiences with their infectious blend of indie rock, hardcore and screamo. After toiling around the tri-state scene in different bands, Mike Vignola (guitar), Gregg D'Labero (guitar), Dave De Marzio (bass), and Billy Weiler (drums) came to the conclusion that a collective effort would best suit their artistic aspirations. Hiring vocalist Adrian Roundtree, they soon were playing on a weekly basis in clubs across New York City. Summer of 2003 saw the release of their independently produced EP, which sold out it's only pressing.
As Near Forever was beginning to gain momentum, Adrian left the band and moved to Texas. The remaining members spent the next several months as a quartet, writing new material and refining their original style, hybridizing their eclectic group of influences. Once finding their creative direction, they began to search for the right voice to complete their vision. Through an ad in the Village Voice, they came across Randall McFadden (vocals), former singer for the D.C based late-nineties outfit Unity Project. Instantly clicking, the reformed band wrote a demo's worth of material in a single week.
Once the demo was recorded, Near Forever once again returned to the New York stage, performing on a weekly basis in clubs and bars throughout the five boroughs. Audiences quickly reacted to the new line-up, causing their fan base not only to grow but to exceed their previous successes.
Spring of 2005 finds the band in the studio with Dug McGuirk, recording engineer of such albums as Stabbing Westward's Darkest Days and Jennifer Lopez's debut album On the Six. The resulting EP, will be available in mid-April. They are currently booking dates throughout the Northeast, and are planning a full East Coast tour for late summer in support of the record.
