Bio

With a strong and consistent career featuring a heavy metal rock sound, NEBLINA is quickly becoming a strong presence in the Los Angeles rock scene.

The band, composed of Carlos García (guitar and vocal), Sergio “Kekys” Estrada (Bass) and Daniel Sánchez (drums), got together on 2002, when these three high school friends shared their dream to form a rock band.

Determined to succeed in their chosen career, NEBLINA started performing at local bars, with a memorable first show at The All American Legion Sports bar at the end of that year.
For the band, the following years were invested in finding and defining an identity as a group. Their influences range from Black Sabbath, Rage Against the Machine, and Metallica to rock-en-Español legend Caifanes, all who inspired NEBLINA’s powerful rock sound.

By 2006, NEBLINA had forged a path ahead and with what experience they had, the members decided to compete at ‘La Batalla de Las Bandas’ (‘Battle of The Bands”) sponsored by Heineken and presented by Rick Ortiz Productions. The group’s quality was a stand-out, noticeable by the public’s reaction and the judges responded by awarding them first place in the competition.

Thanks to this award, NEBLINA released its first album titled "Otra Realidad" in 2007; this album was introduced at the House of Blues/Hollywood to acclaimed success.

During its eight-year career, NEBLINA has shared the stage with important rock personalities, such as B real of Cypress Hill, Slash, McQueen and Matt Sorum ex Guns and Roses, The Cult and Velvet Revolver; as well as sharing the stage with Latin American rock heavy weights like Molotov (2009), Enrique Bunbury (2010), Moderatto (2010), Lucybell (2009), and Bersuit (2006), Los Amigos Invisibles, Jumbo, Boombox, Montenegro, Ceci Batista, Pastilla and Auditivo.

One of the highlights of their career was a performance shared with The Master Javier Batiz, with whom they performed for two nights in the city of Santa Ana, CA, the first time in front of 50,000 people on a Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) celebration and the second time at the famous rock club The Whisky A Go-Go of Hollywood.

One of their most recent performances was at the Sunset Strip Music Fest, in which they had the honor of being the only Spanish speaking rock group selected to participate.
NEBLINA’s music was also welcomed in Mexico City stages of the Hard Rock Café, Doverman, Rock House in Toluca, a city to which they will return soon and where the band also stopped by the prominent radio program Grita Radio in 2008.
