Nechelle
Nechelle, born on march 20th, 1981 in NYC, was born with music in her blood. With influences ranging so far back before her time from old soul, funk, R&B, rock, and folk to today’s acoustic sound of Doria Roberts, indigo girls, Melissa Ferrick and, Ani difranco. Nechelle has adapted a style different from any other and it is clearly shown in her much anticipated first CD release on her own Indie label SoulFolk Records, entitled, ”Epiphanies and Revelations”.
Nechelle has recently entered the music scene as a singer, songwriter, musician and Music Production company owner, sporting an amazing catalogue of 50 plus songs to date. Nechelle is a natural musician who plays a mean guitar and a variety of instruments including the drums, keyboard and lead, rhythm and Bass guitar.
The Epiphanies and Revelations CD takes us through Nechelle’s journey of love, love lost, self-realization, and celebration of finding herself through her travels down the east coast from NY, to CT, to NC. Currently Nechelle is working hard in the Atlanta, GA area recording and introducing herself to the public through performances and local promotion. An energetic and seasoned performer Nechelle has rocked at Atlanta’s Music Midtown 2002, Eddies Attic, CJ’s Landing and much more to come.
